Saturday 21 January - Flaneurs

The weather was bright and sunny again although pretty cool.  We decided on a good walk, out to Boulevard Hausseman and back.

The sun shone brightly on Printemps

We stopped in at Galeries Lafayette to see the art deco dome without the Christmas decorations. It is quite spectacular.

We were surprised to find a well stocked Marks and Spencers Food Hall in the Passage Jouffroy.  They seem to have sprung up in Paris in the last year.

Sometimes it is good to look up.

Sometimes looking down is also good

 This evening we ate at Le P'tit Canon - another extremely good meal

Onion soup au gratin.  Very thick and with good depth of flavor

Carre de veau aux girolles

Souris d'agneau - lots of meat and well seasoned with vegetables.

With a coupe de champagne and a half of Chinon we had a good time.  Everyone was friendly.and we had a good time.
