Sunday 3 September - Eating

It was raining today and we decided to go to the Henry Tudor restaurant for lunch.  Because of the weather the only pictures I have taken are of food:

Chicken liver pate

Beef pie with mushy peas and a separate basket of crispy chips

Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots etc

On the way back to the apartment we stopped in at Patisserie Valerie for dessert

It looks as if we are going to sleep this afternoon.

  1. Hello Colin, I'm enjoying catching up with your travels before I head back into the classroom for my 38th year of teaching. Such diversity in the images...from many and varied locomotives and rolling stock, to colourful plants and historic castle ruins. Say, with food like you pair are enjoying, I'd never leave the dinner table to look at a train!!! Hehehe! Say, Colin, your story of the incident near Abergavenny reminded me of the Air Transat issue at Ottawa airport this summer...with the difference were able to detrain! Keep the grade commentary and images a coming this way across the big pond! All the best, Mike.
