We have been through Wellington many times on the way to and from Birmingham but have never visited it. It is a small place and we didn't expect much. The train took about 15 minutes.

Wellington is much smaller than I thought, we walked through the market which is quite large but is mainly hardware with few local foodstuffs although I came away with an excellent steak and stilton pie. We enjoyed a coffee in small cafe and talked about many things including brexit and treacle mining.
This evening we enjoyed a quiet chat with our landlord and his wife at the Admiral Benbow.
